This is my comment to Nazella. I chose to make a comment on her blog because her screenshot of her favourite game looked really fun. It was all about her basic facts. Nazella wrote what she needed to improve next and I told her how to improve her basic facts. Hopefully Nazella can know her basic facts.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson and Ms Kirkpatrick.

Previously
Today we read a book called Previously, written by Allan Ahlberg and illustrated by Bruce Ingham. It was about fairy tale characters and what they had previously been doing (previously means before). Then we used our imagination to write about what we had previously been doing….
Previously by Sajiha
Previously I was sitting on a mat listening to my teacher read a book.
Previously My teacher who is a dolphin went to the museum to find the book. Previously the museum had just been built on top of the sky tower. Previously I was playing with my pet, dinosaur. Who could talk in 25 different languages. Previously I was in Africa studying about all the talking animals. Previously I was in a aeroplane travelling to Africa with my other pet, Whale. That was 968 years old. Previously I was in kindergarten playing with a baby bear who was the colour pink and yellow. Previously I was having a bath with Mud and banana peels. Mixed with chocolate chip. Previously I was gone to the pools to have a swim with some crabs and killer whales.

A Fun day at Eastern Beach
On a fine and sunny day, the whole of Panmure Bridge School decided to have a great day at Eastern Beach. Everyone was full of excitement and couldn't wait to get there. We all got there by bus.
When we arrived at Eastern Beach, everything was ready for us. There were sports games, a scavenger hunt, swimming and fun. Each class had a chance to swim twice. My favorite part was when a group of girls and I made a heart-shaped sand castle. It had shells all around it and sprinkles of shells and sand on top of it. The waves were huge and everyone was having a fabulous day.
Everything was perfect and happening just the way we wanted it to be until the sun faded away and clouds of rain took its place. It started to spit and it got windy too. It was very disappointing but we still were grateful to have such a fascinating day.
At last we had to go home because we didn't want to freeze. We all wanted to stay but we just couldn't. We had a amazing and safe day. I hope we can have another picnic again someday!

Multiplication Maths Game
This is a multiplication maths game called Pop Up Multiplication. I found it not too complicated not too simple. The questions were based on 9, 10, 11 and 12 times tables. I know I have learnt it because I have got all the answers correct and fast. Next time I hope I can find a division game that is more complicated.

SuperWoman
SuperWoman
If I could transform into any fictional character, I would chose to be Superwoman. There are lots of reasons why I would be her. First of all she is very unique. There are many things that she can do and others cant. For example, SuperWoman can fly. Her huge, long colorful cape makes her fly and glide smoothly and safely and is different from anyones.. SuperWoman can do many tricks to trick anyone. She is also super fast at everything. No one knows where she lives and thats why I would like to be SuperWoman! Who would you like to be and why?

The Snagglegrollop
WALT summarise a story.
A summary is a short description of what happened in the text.
Purpose: to show that you understand the main idea and details.
Remember to include:
- who (characters) and where (setting)
- main points/most important parts
- problem and solution
- use the summary strategy - Somebody, Wanted, But, So, Then
Title: Summarising the Snaggegrollop
Somebody
Sam
Wanted
A pet
But
His parents did not let him
So
He instead brought a Snagglegrollop but the Snagglegrollop felt very lonely because he didn’t have a true best friend.
Then
Emily got a QuibbleSnuff and Sam’s Snagglegrollop felt enchanted with her. The two monsters then flew away together forever and were happy.
Sam was dieing for a pet. But his parents would make excuses because they knew that a pet would mean lots of work. Then a brilliant idea hit Sams head. Sam thought of having a Snagglegrollop for a pet. His parents thought that he was making it all up, so they agreed that he should have a Snagglegrollop.
One day after school, Sam actually brought a Snagglegrollop home. His parents were amazed and surprised at the same time. His dad felt sad for him so he let him keep it but it was his responsibility. He
washed it, he dried it and made him clean as water. Sam's family were soon very happy about the Snagglegrollop. But the Snagglegrollop was sometimes sad because he felt very lonely and didn't have a best friend.
Emily, (Sam's best friend) wanted a pet too. "Why don't you have a Snagglegrollop?" Sam asked. "I would rather have a QuibbleSnuff!"
The next day Emily brought her QuibbleSnuff to the park. Sam's family was there also with Sam's Snagglegrollop. When the Snagglegrollop saw the QuibbleSnuff, he was blushing.
Then Straight away they were together. They made each other laugh and had fantastic days together.
As the day went, the two love birds held each others hand and flew away together. Emily and Sam didn't know they could do that and wondered if they would see them again!

My Perfect Playground
My Perfect Playground
Theme- Huge, fun, crazy Rain forest
Swirly Slide, Ball Pit, Wobble Walker, Soaring Flying Fox, Round Merry-go-round, Bouncy Trampoline.
My perfect playground would have a huge, fun and crazy rain forest for a theme. In the center there would be a huge, long green flying fox that would be soaring to a huge oak tree at a quiet corner. It can have all kinds of different patterns of wild rain forest animals. Right next to the soaring flying fox would be a round merry-go-round that had wild animals for seats. Surrounding each seat would be a tiny ball pit for anyone even adults to jump in. The balls would be designed with different kinds of Rain forest trees. And at the very last corner would be the swirly slide. It would be so swirly it can make you dizzy. It would also be blue with birds and wild animals to make it interesting. That's my perfect playground. How would your Perfect Playground be like?
