2016 Reflection

This year we have been in tons of activities and loads of fun.  This collage reflects on the whole year of what LS2 have been doing like for example Rhythm Interactive, Soccer, Quick writes and many more. I enjoyed the multi-modal learning that we have completed this year this particular task was based on pigeons.   To make it more interesting and more of a challenge we decided not to use a collage maker and instead make our pictures layered and with different shapes.  This year has been really great I had a great journey throughout this year I can't wait to see what's in store for us next year.

Graduation 2016

This is a Google Presentation that I have created based on the Year 8 Graduation for 2016. It consists of photos of our class, certificate photos, dance photos and also dinner photos. We all had a great time for the whole of 2016, especially last night. Thank you to Ms.K for organizing everything for last night.

PBS Athletics Day

Today we had our Panmure Bridge School Athletics Day. We were lucky to have a few Tamaki College Students to help us with playing the activities. Each year group was split into three different teams, where we learn't to collaborate and encourage each other. The year 8's first started at a game called 'Capture the flag,' we then moved onto, Sponge relay, Long Jump, Shot putt and Hoola Hoop Throw. I think my team worked very well together, since we won many games. The weather was not the best, since we all got wet but we did enjoy our day very much.

Olympic Logo

This is a logo that I have created using design mantic. My task was to create a logo if the 2016 Olympics was in New Zealand. I have added 3 images that show running, cycling and swimming.

All About Me

Hello, my name is Sajiha. For 2016 this year, I am the Head Girl at PBS. As a year 8, I am challenging myself to post at least 30 blog posts about my learning by the end of the term. This will help me learn how to take responsibility of my own learning in LS2.

Student Leader Nomination

Sajiha

I am the perfect candidate for either a great Head Girl or Manaiakalani leader in 2016 because of the many skills a leader needs! I use the school values inside and out of school: I am a confident speaker who faces all obstacles with a positive attitude, I show respect towards teachers as well as students, and show great motivation in my school work. I am a great role model for the younger students and I try my best to influence others to do the same. An important key to becoming a leader is representing our school - I know I can make our school proud! I am a confident student who wears the school uniform proudly, and can take on this position with all the responsibilities needed, and with a smile. Being head girl has been my goal for so long, I know I can become something great and becoming a head leader is one step closer to that. No matter what happens, I will strive to represent the school the best way possible and become the role model our younger students need! I participate in all activities such as sports and encourage others to try their best, and never let anyone feel discourages. I would also fulfill the role of Manaiakalani leader the best I can! To be able to call myself the 2016 Head Girl of Panmure Bridge School would be the ultimate milestone and privilege, and to be called the 2016 Manaiakalani Leader of Panmure Bridge School would be a benefit in my years to come and would be a pleasure to be handed. All I ask is a chance to prove myself. I have the ability to take many risks in my learning helping me reach my full potential. Many people say that along with the title of Head Girl comes with a lot of pressure, but I like to endure that pressure and use it as a fuel to drive me towards my goals. Being head girl is what I have been striving to become all year. It is a position I can take on with a smile and all responsibility provided, it is a position made for me! Please, consider me for the 2016 nominee for Head Girl and Manaiakalani Leader.

I have been nominated as Head Girl and Manaiakalani leader of Panmure Bridge School. I am more than proud of being nominated for both leaders. We had to write a paragraph to help persuade why we should be a leader next year. I have many of the leadership qualities that are needed for either Head Girl or Manaiakalani Leader. I am looking forward for the results next week in Prize Giving!
