Tech at Tamaki College

This term, my group's topic for Technology at Tamaki College is Carving. We have been planning our designs to create Maori Dream Catchers. The Google Presentation above shows my designs, who I am wanting to create the dream catcher for and what my designs look like. I am looking forward to seeing how my final outcome will turn out like. 

Technology: Art - Week 10

Today for Technology, we continued our art. We started off firstly by drawing our symbols/patterns on our booklets. We had to make our drawings simple because we are going to carve them out next week. 

Art at Tamaki College - Week 6

This week we had our third session of art at Tamaki College. I have been learning to find 10 images that relate to my culture, ten images that relate to my friends and family and 10 images that relate to my environment. 

3D Printing at Tech

Today was our first ever session for Technology at Tamaki College. My year group (Y8) have 3D Printing for this term. So far, we have learnt how to draw personal symbols in our everyday lives. I am really looking forward for next week! 

Wood Craft - Technology

A new rotation at Technology has started for the Year 7's. We have successfully made a start at Wood Work with Mr. Grundy. In a few weeks time,  we will have completed our woodcraft. This is a shot of me, working on my Wood 'Plane'.

This is my Animated Name created on "Scratch." I have used many different techniques to create this. I have also used animation to make it more interesting and eye-catching.

This is my greeting card created on a site called "Scratch". I have created my greeting card based on a birthday card. I have used many creative letters and also a background for more detail.
