We had a full day of art on Wedneday where we focused on 'Hundertwasser' artworks. To help us learn about Hundertwasser, we created the google doc above where we included his birth, nationality, education, three pictures of his artworks, his connection to New Zealand and the date of his death. We focused on one of his artworks and used some of his features in our own artworks. We practiced our shading with oil pastels and learned the proper way of using cool and warm colors to make our colors effective and eye-catchuing. 

  

Technology: Art - Week 10

Today for Technology, we continued our art. We started off firstly by drawing our symbols/patterns on our booklets. We had to make our drawings simple because we are going to carve them out next week. 

Art at Tamaki College - Week 6

This week we had our third session of art at Tamaki College. I have been learning to find 10 images that relate to my culture, ten images that relate to my friends and family and 10 images that relate to my environment. 

Kaleidoscope Artwork

Here is my kaleidoscope artwork. I enjoyed doing this piece of artwork because it was really interesting to see what you end up with at the end.I like the colours I chose because they go well together and they are my favourite colours. I liked this activity because it was fun and I also learnt a lot of new things

Color Wheel DLO

This is a collaborative DLO created by Fine and I. We have shown how to make a color wheel, the relationship between colors and warm/cool colors. 

Vincent Van Gogh Artwork

This is a piece of artwork that I have completed with Miss Donaldson. We were inspired by a famous artist named Vincent Van Gogh. Miss Donaldson taught us many valuable things about art that will help us throughout the future! We worked on this for many weeks but we were all proud at the end. 

                                         

Collaborative Art

This is my groups collaborative art. We have all worked in a team to make this art. Our topic is Kiwiana and we have added some kiwiana icons to our art to make it effective. Please leave some feedback!

I have been learnt about Transformation in maths. I now know what transformation in maths is.  I have made an art work of a native silver fern. My art shows rotation and reflection. I drew each artwork using pastels. I had lots of fun and wish I can learn more about transformation. Do you know what transformation is and how it works?
