Holiday Reading Challenge #11 - Skin Deep: Retell

I have read a book called Skin Deep. I have chosen to comeplete the task called "Retell." In this task, I had to retell the book I have read in 25 words or less. I have managed to retell my book in 24 words. This book is written by Laura Jarratt and is a fiction book.

I have read a book called 'Making Bombs For Hitler'. This book is written by Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch. I have chosen the retell task. My learning intention was to retell the book in only 25 words. 

Holiday Reading Challenge - Recommendation: #8

I have read a book called 'Making Bombs For Hitler'. This book is written by Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch. I have chosen the recommendation task. My learning intention was to write a paragraph about who I recommend this to and why. I recommended this book to older students aged 12 +. I also gave my reasons why I recommended the book to students aged 12+. 

Holiday Reading Challenge - New Cover: #7

I have read the book called 'Making Bombs For Hitler.'  The book is a fiction book written by Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch. I have chosen the task 'Create a new cover'. This is the new cover of the book created on 'Canva'. I think my cover is better because the colors go well together where as the original cover, had different colors which did not suit each other.

I recommended this book to children all over the world who do not have access to education. I Am Malala is a non - fiction book written by Malala featuring Patricia Mccormick.

Holiday Reading Challenge - Sidekick: #5

In this task, my learning intention was to write a paragraph where I was the sidekick in the story I have read; I Am Malala. I also had to explain how I would have helped out the main character. I Am Malala is a non - fiction book written by Malala and Patricia Mccormick. 

Holiday Reading Challenge - New Cover: #4

I have read the book called 'I am Malala' and created a new cover for the book. The author of the book is , Malala Yousafzai followed by Patricia Mccormick. The story is non - fiction and mainly a biography that explains all the struggles and main points in Malala's life. 

Holiday Reading Challenge - Rewrite The Ending: #3

I have decided to choose the 'Rewrite the ending' task for my 3rd Holiday Reading Challenge DLO. I had to write a paragraph about what I think should have happened at the end of the novel I have read. I also had to explain why I think my ending is better. The book I have read which is a fiction story is called 'When my name was Keoko'. The author of the novel is 'Linda Sue Park'.
