Yesterday the year 8's had a challenge with trusting! The challenge was us to to close our eyes and to trust and rely on our partner to lead us the right way. My partner and I had a great time. One of the best parts was when we had to slide down the slide with our eyes closed. I think that this activity really help LS2 bond with trust!
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson and Ms Kirkpatrick.

Taj Mahal Presentation - Homelearning
This is a Google Presentation that I have created for my Homelearning for week 4. My task was to create a DLO on Taj Mahal that answers the 5 questions about the building. This helps me with my smart searching skills and how I can layout my work in a interesting and eye-catching way.

Kaleidoscope Artwork
Here is my kaleidoscope artwork. I enjoyed doing this piece of artwork because it was really interesting to see what you end up with at the end.I like the colours I chose because they go well together and they are my favourite colours. I liked this activity because it was fun and I also learnt a lot of new things
Home Learning - Prezi
This week for home learning, I had to work collaboratively with a partner of my choice and create a DLO about the Sydney Opera House. This week, I worked together with Zeba. We had questions that we had to answer on the home learning tab on our class site. We added facts and images too.

All About Me
Hello, my name is Sajiha. For 2016 this year, I am the Head Girl at PBS. As a year 8, I am challenging myself to post at least 30 blog posts about my learning by the end of the term. This will help me learn how to take responsibility of my own learning in LS2.
Dear Term Four Me
Dear Term Four Sajiha,
By the time you read this, you will have had a successful year 8 journey and are enrolled in a new school for your start to College. Did your tests for Selwyn go well? Are you now on Level 6 for writing? You must have had to check the LS2 Writing Rubric while writing. Have you showed leadership by helping younger students with their work or even on the playground? I hope you have completed all 5 of your Gold Care Awards. In order to do this, you must have showed up on time to your meetings and appointments with Mr. Johnston.
Good luck for 2017 in College and see you next year!
Yours sincerely, Term one Sajiha

Bar Graph - Favorite Sports Shoe Brand
This is my Bar Graph about famous sports shoe brand LS2 likes. This Google drawing explains why Nike is the most liked and why kids can is the least liked but still chosen. I worked collaborative with Zeba and Mahdia. The whole of LS2 created their own question and asked everyone else.
Stretching Sentences
This is my presentation of Stretching Sentences. My task was to use the 5 W's in a sentence to help make it more complex and detailed. I enjoyed learning this because this can help me improve in my sentences when I am doing a writing assessment.
